While sifting through all of the RSS feeds that I have been neglecting, I found this gem that Chase Jarvis shared a few weeks ago. This looks like it was a lot of fun to produce. Using a high speed camera(1000 fps) They were able to catch every detail of a breakfast spread being obliterated. Of course this making of video would not be complete without a little funny business at the end. Here is the making of: Breakfast Interrupted by Bruton Stroube Studios.
I stumbled upon this video review today, which really quite impressed me. Hot Wheels now makes a car that has a video camera in it capable of shooting 30 and 60fps video. Though the 60fps video was pretty unwatchable when worn as a helmet cam on bumpy terrain, The rest of the video was really impressive especially considering the Hot Wheels Video Racer retails for only $59.99. That’s a pretty incredible price for a pretty awesome toy. Where were these things when I was a kid?
I don’t know how many of you saw this, but recently someone found a peculiar woman in black walking in a Chaplin film holding on to what appears to be a cell phone while she is talking. Though it may be nothing more that a crazy lady with a hearing aid talking to her self, the thought of a time traveler getting caught on film sends my imagination running wild. These things never cease to grab my attention and get my gears turning. I implore you to take a look at this video and let me know what you think. At the very least this is a lot of fun.
